Realising the fact that olive trees farms were already producing, at that time, the olives of variety Arbequina, from 1992 a limited production of extra virgin olive oil under the brand L'Estornell Quinto Centenario was launched to the market.
To ensure the viability of this project before the start of production and packaging of this oil, it authenticates the age of the trees through local records and family archives.
This oil comes in a bottle type "Tavern" which were those used at the time. If comes with a cork that will be replaced, once opened, by a glass one that comes with the box, and makes it easy to serve it.
Golden green oil on the nose denotes freshness and smell of freshly cut grass. Grows in the mouth, delicate, highly complex with very dense texture due to the extreme age of the trees. On the palate tastes like nuts "almonds and chocolate." A slight itching persists.
