Cortijo “El Tobazo” in Alcaudete, is a family farm and one of the first in the province to cultivate the olives in an organic way. Environmental respect and conscience guidelines are followed though out the production, elaboration and commercializing of this magnificent oil. This makes them different and gives them an added value for the product. It is one of the olive oils awarded in the competition “Jaen Seleccion 2011”, by the Jaen Provincial Council.
Soler Romero has a color green yellow, clean, glossy and consistent. Smell which highlights the grass tones are emphasized together with the ripest fruits: leaves, grass and artichoke, together with apple and ripe almond. Citric touches. And a taste which has a mild start in the mouth that confirms the aromatic perception, lightly bitter and progressively pungent. A bit astringent that reminds us of artichoke and thistle. Velvety. Medium structure and persistence.
It is extra virgin olive oil certified organic. Self-produced in Alcaudete, Jaén. It is made from the Picual variety and has an acidity of 0.1%. It is extracted from cold. Unfiltered.
