From the union between the family business tradition and passion for Olive Oil, it was born 8 years ago, the project of a new Extra Virgin Olive Oil Oil under the name of Oleo Quirós, which is commercially available in three different Extra Virgin Olive Oils: Pago de Quiros (Ecological), Finca La Moncloa and OleoQuirós (DO Montes de Toledo).
Our philosophy is the quality over all, and our secret: the traceability of the project, being able to control the whole process, from growing the olive trees until we serve one of our products on the board.
The collection of the fruit is done by mechanical means that ensure the purity and cleanliness of fruit. This way we can move the product immediately to the mill ensuring elaboration in optimal conditions.
Not surprisingly, the mill was recognized as one of the Best Olive Oil Mills of Spain granted by the Spanish association of municipalities in the olive (Montoro, Córdoba) in 2006.
Certifications and registrations to highlight:
-Ecological Almazara certified by the Ministry of Agriculture of Castilla La Mancha.
-Certification of implementing quality standards ISO 9001
-Product certification granted by the Regulatory Council of Denomination of Origin Montes de Toledo to the variety Cornicabra.
As a result of the search for the quality in all the production process, OleoQuiros has the following awards and recognitions:
Awards particularly remarkable for OleoQuiros and Finca La Moncloa:
-Prize for the best Cornicabra Olive Oil Montes de Toledo 2009 for OleoQuiros oil Cornicabra variety.
-Olive Award of Silver 2008 and 2009 in the Fair of Olivo, Mora, Toledo.
-Prize for the best olive oil of Spain Radio Turismo 2006 for the Finca La Moncloa oil .
Awards most outstanding for Pago de Quiros:
-Selected as best Oganic Extra Virgin Olive Oil in BIOL 2011 (Italy).
- Gold Selection Award awarded by the Junta de Castilla la Mancha for Best Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2008 and 2009.
-Ecotrama Award of Gold in the Fair Bio Cordoba 2008.
- Selected Oil in 'L'extraverggine 2009'.
-Awards for Best Ecological Extra Virgin Olive Oil granted by the Ministry of Environment, Rural and Marine in 2009.
-Awards for Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2010 awarded by the Junta de Castilla La Mancha.
